Last Friday, one of the most awaited fashionable events took place in Seventh High. Preview magazine held its annual Best Dressed Ball where they awarded 10 public personalities who manifested exemplary performance with their styles. Garbed in 70's attire(this year's theme), celebrities, socialites, models, designers, stylists, make-up artists and other guests dressed to impress. Here are some of the snapshots I managed to take in between squeezing into crowds and gasping from fashion overdose.
Alodia Gosiengfiao proves that cosplay isn't her only forte.
I see a human disco ball here! I wonder how the dress feels like.
Blogger Kryz Uy did not really dress to the 70's theme, but she still looked amazing in this Jerome Salaya Ang piece.
You have no idea what I would give up to have this kind of body. Bianca Valerio surely stood out in this form-fitting gown and her blond locks.
One of Kermit Tesoro's muse. Just wait until you see his(this is not an error) shoes.
I love how Daniel Naval did not look tacky in a head-to-toe striped outfit.
One of the Philippines' most sought after stylists, Daryl Chang.
Laureen Uy is looking fabulous in her all-white jumpsuit. Worthy of the best dressed award indeed.
Melissa Dizon channeling the 70's bohemian.
Paul Jatayna in a very retro look.
Celebrities arrive and media men go wild.
Ria Bolivar can wear anything and still look stylish. She's the Agyness Deyn of the Philippines.
The Best Dressed Woman of the Year...Iza Calzado! She didn't wear the sunglasses with her Jun Escario gown by the way. Some random guy handed it to her to pose with for a few shots.
The July issue cover of Preview magazine.
It was so unfortunate that we had to leave early. Good thing we bumped into Pauline Suaco-Juan, Preview editor-in-chief on our way out. She looks elegant with her matching shoes.
Me and my girl pal Gen as paparazzo that night. FUN FUN FUN!
